Partners’ Conference - 21st - 23rd December 2007
The Partners’ Conference is one of the most important events in
the KPMG calendar. It is the only time in the year when all the
partners from the Hong Kong/China practice all get together.
The conference consists of two days of plenary sessions as well
as dinners and spousal programmes. The venue for 2007 was Sanya
on the island of Hainan in South China.
This beautiful island provided the perfect backdrop for the KPMG
partners to meet, network and eventually unwind with their families.
KPMG also took this opportunity to launch their hugely significant
KPMG Foundation, a charitable organisation within KPMG that will
provide them with a platform to become involved in a number of
charitable initiatives. The launch took place before the welcome
banquet on the first evening.
After two days of conference sessions and meetings the event
concluded with a lavish Latin themed barbeque dinner in the beautiful
gardens of the Sheraton Hotel with an 8 piece Latin band and dancers
providing the entertainment. The climax of this event was a spectacular
10-minute firework display which will live on in the memories
of everyone who attended for years to come.
