KPMG - Shanghai Annual
Dinner 2008 - 18th December 2008
Having organised the KPMG Annual Staff Dinner in Beijing for the
past 5 years it was something of a breakthrough and an honour to
be asked to organise the KPMG Annual Staff Dinner in Shanghai in
2008. The theme we came up with for the dinner was, ‘A Night on
Broadway’, and, as with their Beijing office, the KPMG staff provided
the entertainment.
We held auditions with the hopeful staff over a period of weeks
and eventually selected the best. We then organised a series of
rehearsals with voice coaches and choreographers in order to the
polish the acts.
The dinner, for more than 2,000 people, took place at the Shanghai
New International Expo Centre, which we transformed into a Broadway
theatre with a lavish set and stunning lighting show, with all
the tables beautifully themed and decorated.
The dinner was a huge success with the entertainment surpassing
all expectations.
